The training that was given to the team was extensive and it helped the various members (financial director and supervisors) identify what our role was in preparing financial statements. I personally found it helpful to identify my needs as well as the needs of my counterparts while achieving a common goal...

The members of the group discussed strategies and accomplishments made during the previous days. The group headed by Renata would always give us these mind blowing exercises. The exercises forced you to think and figure out how to overcome obstacles. How to use other people on the team to help you reach that goal. You're not in this alone. I learned that you have to learn to rely on your subordinates and colleagues when you feel backed up in a corner. You have to be able to network. You will be surprised how much the views of someone else can help you with a problem.

Most of all I learned to keep detailed organized records... [Renata] spent individual time with me and my office has never been so on top of things!

It has been more than a year since my experience with Renata and her group. But, I have been able to present a neatly wrapped package each time senior leaders or department heads request information from my payroll section. It feels good and each time I am able to do this with more confidence. I owe this all to a little bit of me and a little bit of them, team work and innovations.
